Alice Cadd

Alice Cadd is a Consultant Psychiatrist who has worked in mental health for the last 26 years. As a Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Western Australia, she has a research interest in trauma and psychosis, with multiple academic publications. She has worked with hundreds of clients and has come to the conclusion that we are all broken in some way, but our strength lies in our vulnerabilities. She is an advocate for respect, kindness and tolerance in psychiatric treatment.

Alice travels to the Pilbara every year to walk the magnificent gorges, swim in the ocean and rivers and camp remotely. She has made efforts to reflect this remarkable landscape in her first novel.
